It seems like the “autism incurable” is dominating your thoughts. Unfortunately, most people still think that autism is an incurable disorder. But I can assure you, this is just a misunderstanding created by current medicine. Autism is curable. I’ve been advocating for a very long time that autism is a treatable disease, and I’ve seen so many children in my office and my clinical practice, who have been treated, who have gotten improved, and who are now living in normal developmental status.
Several crucial fallacies in modern medicine make autism an untreatable condition. The first is “genetic determinism.” This is the idea that there is a genetic component, so it is incurable. In contrast, today’s ‘epigenetics’ understands that even if you share the same genes, you may or may not develop autism depending on differences in the environment in which the genes are expressed. In other words, if you think epigenetically, autism can be treated simply by changing the environment in which the brain’s nerves can develop.
The second misconception is that autism is a “congenital condition,” meaning that children are born with damaged brain nerves. This is not the case at all. Many parents report that their children showed normal development and regressed later. This is already clear to us who study autism: it’s not “congenital autism”; it’s “early degeneration.” In other words, it’s important to understand that autism is a “degenerative disease.” It’s not that children are born with autism; their brain is born with a fragile immune system, and it slowly degenerates. It’s a gradual progression of damage to the brain. So many children, I can say, almost all of them, can return to the normal developmental stage with early and proper intervention if they are treated before the damage becomes more severe.
I’m not alone in this claim; there are numerous reports of cures for autism. The most prominent is the “fecal transplant” at Arizona State University. The idea is to kill the bacteria in the gut with antibiotics; and then transplant feces from a healthy child. Referring to the report, out of 15 severely autistic children, 4 after 8 weeks of fecal transplantation left the autism spectrum in just 8 weeks. There is also a documentary report of a nonverbal child who developed normally and spoke after a ketogenic diet. In addition, Jacqueline McCandless, MD, describes in her book ‘ Children with Starving Brains: A Medical Treatment Guide for Autism Spectrum Disorder’ how her patient with severe autism improved dramatically after 3 months on an antiviral drug called Valtrex and returned to normalcy. There are countless other examples.
Even without citing these examples, I have seen many children usually develop with a combination of dietary and nutritional therapy, with my herbal medicine at its core.
In a recent paper I published, you can see some of the results: based on 16 children with autism, after 6 months of my herbal treatment, 4 of them recovered to the standard category, or 25% of them recovered to the average class. The cure rate of today is much higher than this because this was done before the Dr. Tomato protocol was finalized, which was three years ago. The cure rate is much higher now that the protocol has been completed. It doesn’t take long for kids to break out of the autistic pattern after treatment, it’s just a matter of about six months to three months, and we’re seeing kids with mild autism return to a typical range of behavior in about three months.
And the reason they recover so quickly is because of treatments that reduce the inflammatory response that’s going on in the brain and prevent brain damage, and again, I’ll say that. Autism is a degenerative disease. Your child is never disabled at birth – your child is born smart with an excellent, healthy brain. Environmental pollutants get into your child’s brain. They create inflammation and cause it to degenerate. The bottom line is that you need to understand that your child is not a ‘disabled child’; they are a ‘sick child.’ They have a ‘sick brain.’ Treating a cold and treating a sick brain is the same to me. Treat the sore spot, and the child moves on to normal development.
‘Autism’ is a ‘disease that can be cured.’ The idea that autism can’t be cured is a myth created by current medicine and science. To be more scientific, it’s more accurate to say, “Autism is a condition that we have seen quite a bit of evidence of children getting better, of children returning to normalcy, but we don’t know yet how to treat it with current medicine. Autism is a curable disease. I hope you never lose hope but do your best to support your child.
